Jo and Saha ; Wouldn't make a centre forward between them

Im not Jo or Sahas biggest fan, I think they can both score goals, but I dont rate them. Jo has got potential and Saha is good, but he breaks too easy, time will tell if hes put his injury problems behind him, but I doubt it.

But no way on Gods green earth can either of these players be blamed for a 6-1 defeat.

Agreed. Again.

Saha at least showed some appetite when he came on.....We win as a team and lose as a team.
The whole team must take responsability......Although hoofing it up the park like we did brought me back to the good old days of Pub football on a sunday morning.....

SHOCKING """""""

The midfield yesterday was practically non existent which meant the the back four were over run. Lescott essentially was our MOM.

I think more than anything it's just a case of looking for scapegoats after a big defeat. Everyone knows you hate Saha and Jo, it's expected to be honest.

Your having a go at Saha's fitness yet he's been fit since February, he came back from injury against Newcastle and has been fit ever since. Fair enough, when he gets an injury and is out for a long period you can moan, at the moment that's just not the case.

This is a man that's scored four goals in his last four appearances for Everton plus three in four in pre-season, that speaks for itself really.

As for Jo, he can't be blamed for Saturday's result, he barely got a pass to his feet all game. We played hoof ball and the midfield, bar Pienaar, all had shockers. He wasn't good, I agree there, but he's far from the reason we lost.

Toccy , mate .
Point 1 ; I don't hate him . I am , however , frustrated to fuk with him .
2 ; HE IS NOT FIT , MATE . He played 60 mins in the Final , and despite scoring 1st min , he was blowing out of his arse . He's then gone through a full pre - season and again , it's still 15 mins here and there .
3; I'm not blaming either of them for Sat . It was a team debacle . My issue was , with everyone else strengthening , we don't look as if we wlil hurt teams , and THAT will be our biggest problem .The world is now au fait with Timmy's super-powers , thus , the onus is on the others , and I , am decidely uncertain . Less than that , even .

The fault of the manager I believe

So your an expert on Louis Saha's fitness?

He's been available since the Newcastle game last season, he's completed a full pre-season and despite only (supposedly) having one weapon his goals to game ratio is impressive. Four goals in his last four appearences, three goals in four starts during pre-season.

It's up to Moyes how he wants to use him, he obviously felt Jo was the better option on the day. That certainly doesn't mean Saha's not fit, it's probably down to Jo having a very impressive pre-season.

And why are we not hurting teams Bally? Because we have no one, bar Pienaar, who can create and make things happen. We are missing creativity, not goalscorers. A striker can only work with what's he's got.

And considering Tim's got 'super powers' he only scored one more goal than Saha last season despite starting alot more games. Jo and Saha are nowhere near as bad as you make out, they've both proven that with decent service they'll put the ball in the back of the net.

I would be more interested to see the Yakubu and Saha combination, any update on the Yaks would he be available to us on Thursday or against Burnley.
