I think most, if not all, have a few high earners that they can't get rid of either for them being dossers or completely injury prone... I don't think this is unique to us, but we've made a good effort at it!

With Moyes if a signing didn't work out we normally sold them off and recouped what we could. I think of selling Beattie for £4 million after paying £6.5. Done and dusted and you hvae money back.
Bit harsh to be have a go at him. Both his injuries,were big ones. I did my Achilies in 2014, it took ages to get back and its never been as good. Admit I am nearly 50 and didn't have Premier league medical staff. But its not that long ago his injuries would be retirment jobs.
There was the engine that could and there's this fella that seems more like a myth.
He wasn't even in the squad Vs Fleetwood, he's been injury free for over a year and never plays.
Has he? He hasn't refused to play. He's not a Rodwell, Delph or James who claimed multiple niggles. He has suffered terrible bad luck with injuries that have severely damaged his career. That's not stealing a living.
