I think he might be in a dilemma too, that we've invested so much in his recovery that he doesn't want to leave as soon as he's injury free. but at the same time, often a change of scene is what revitalises people. it's lonely for overseas players to be in England, even if they have fancy houses to live in, it doesn't mean everything is perfect. Shame, one of those £25m we could have seen come good if things went our way. On paper, Gbamin, Gomes, Digne and Mina were really good signings. Plus RIcharlison, that season might have gone so differently if things had clicked.
