Them city boys make some good points, nice to see I was quoted there too.

dignity comes in many forms, most notably sacking one manager and having his replacement in a hotel 5 miles away.

I like city, wish them success, until they play us.

That comment about class and dignity was funny, he was right, it's footy, not world starvation.

One thing I'll say is I can come on the GOT forum and laugh till I cry in most threads. It's fun reading them even if I wasn't an Everton fan. I went on Bluemoon for 2 minutes and checked outside to see if the world had ended. Geez does rooting for a rich club make you that dark...

We aren't really calling Chelsea and City small clubs are we? They are in the Champions League next season.

I take great satisfaction knowing all of us here are here for love of club, especially those of us outside of England, where EFC doesn't get much exposure. If anything, I feel sorry for long-time supporters of those two clubs having to deal with all the fly-by-night supporters.
Aye that's me mate, never set foot in England let alone Goodison. Am chosen just like you.

Man City will NEVER be a "big club" END OFF! Horrible little nothing club and buying the premership won't change that. I wouldn't call Chelsea a big club either as their gates before the prem were a joke. Sky would like to forget that football exist before 1993 and clubs be "big" without having loads of cash. I don't want Man City style cash, just enough to compete.

Same here; from Cape Town and the "only" team supported in these parts are Manchester United. The day after Moyes was appointed, most of my colleagues and friends were talking about him like he had managed their team for the past 11 years.

Overnight he had gone from manager of plucky little Everton, to being the greatest manager in the history of football. They talked about his net spend, his free flowing football, dynamicism, interchangability of tactics, his power to motivate...they knew him they said...a great choice, they said...yep...he's a genius, you know?

Me; I just nodded, what did I know?
