The very thought of Michael Keane at CB away at Arsenal will give us all sleepness nights.Borrowed from The People's Forum:
He has tightness in both of his hamstrings.
No major setback but the club are being ultra cautious (hence him not going to Portugal) so he is highly unlikely to feature in both the Arsenal and Chelsea games at this stage.
His op was a big one as we know so he now needs careful management and to continue following the rehab plan post op for the remainder of the season with now a period of reduced workload to protect him until he feels recovered.
A blow to the push to stay top half and in the hunt for Europe but also given the nature of the original injury perhaps not hugely surprising he’s had to take a step back to a period of time.
Yeah said we think. He could be playing mind games with all the rumours that have been aboutMoyes said he should be fine for the weekend.
Could be an element of that but think the more extreme ‘six week’ rumours can be put to bed- he’s not going to outright lie to that extent when it would become obvious he’d done so.Yeah said we think. He could be playing mind games with all the rumours that have been about
Yeah, the 6/8 week thing it has been made out to be, based on what he said may be false, as if he was not fit this weekend, and just missing out, you would think he may be ok next week for example. I myself thought he would be back for Brentford and miss these 2 gamesCould be an element of that but think the more extreme ‘six week’ rumours can be put to bed- he’s not going to outright lie to that extent when it would become obvious he’d done so.
Wild...just seen this.Moyes said he should be fine for the weekend.
...at CB.Branthwaite has been near "red zone" according to the the sports science team which means he's susceptible to an injury.
All of sudden he's fine.
Honestly take anything you hear from the club at the minute with pinch of salt.
Unofficially it's gone from 6/8 weeks
To "managing his minutes"
And now he's fine according to Moyes
Personally I'll be made up if he starts.
