January Transfer Window 2026

I particularly love his "in this country" aside. Does he think that foreigners who make this system work well abroad with multinational players suddenly lose the ability to make it work with multinational players as soon as they cross the Channel?

The days of the all-powerful manager are in retreat. Once Guardiola is gone - and even he is only one critical cog in that well-oiled machine - then no top club will have a Fergie or Wenger type figure dominating proceedings. Chelsea are merely leading the way - and still picking up pots as they do.
He’s probably one of those old fellas who believes it’s illegal to say Merry Christmas in this country now because of Woke.

Intermediaries = Kia Joorabchian.

He's part of Bertolucci Sports who are full of names we have been linked with during the Moshiri/Joorabchian days

Kia Joorabchian is a prominent Iranian-born businessman known for his deep involvement in football transfers, acting as an advisor and representing investors in player rights, often working closely with his long-time associate, Brazilian agent Giuliano Bertolucci,

Looks like he's got bored of messing up Forest and seeing if we will bite again , and also trying to get a foot in the door with spurs' new owners

Spurs have new management not new owners?

I'm pretty lenient about signings in January - it is harder, there's just less movement so fewer options - but if the likes of Mingueza and Vanderson actually move for good fees this month while we're just sitting around waiting for premier league experience, that would be just very very silly

Indeed, either of those two would be good.

Would prefer another option than wilson but dont think we will go out and buy and cf this window. If it was a deal end of the season with sensible wage could see him being able to play in a two aswell

Have you watched him play for West Ham this season? Guy is finished physically and mentally.

Also not the type of character to be bringing into the squad imo.

Have mate. He has a 1 league goal less then our two strikers combined. He has two assists - our two have 0 and he's come off the bench for WHU most of the year.

WHU are finished mentally and physically.

Im not saying give him a five year deal - Jan is a marginal gains window - to plan for 18 games left in the season - would he offer us marginal gains in terms of goal scoring for four months - i think he would.

Honestly can't believe the innate desire that people have to see over the hill prem strikers get the last contract of their career at Everton.

Used to be Ings shouts every window, now Wilson. He's just had his contract terminated by the 2nd worst team in the league, who have just signed 2 strikers that don't score to replace him. The guy is beyond finished.

Well when you put it like that

Think we will all prefer everton to get another striker and would just be on deal till end of the season not to be stuck paying him like we have been stuck with players in the past gbamin tosun ect. Just honestly cant see everton going out buying a striker this window. I am already massively unsure if we will even buy a rb
