For McNeil?



Surely its a must to sell McNeil, Beto & Patterson.

Makes no sense to keep them when their value is the highest it may ever be from now and were paying their wages.



Need to sell him and the other 2 i mentioned above + loan Aznou to the championship.

Zat , you keep trotting out the same mantra "sell Patterson, Beto and McNeil" , absolutely fine but who in their right mind are going to give us money for that lot .

I can see Moyes wanting Bowen if they go down, think mainoo and Gallagher both play in
Similar positions to KDH, if Moyes is going to stick with this number 10, I’d rather he bought a specialist one.

Though a 433 could work quite well with Bowen on the right Ndiaye left and 2 quality full backs backing them up and a strong midfield 3

I think we’d get money for them, not fortunes but on the books Patterson and McNeil will have very low book values. Beto a bit higher, but we’d still make a profit on them imo, which all helps

Not all starters but can use some as subs. Then sprinkle in players who arent playing week in and out in the first team. Like gana, keane or o'Brien (if branthwaite is fit), alcaraz, barry/beto (depending on who started in the league), tim and rohl.

Then hopefully when it comes to the tough part of the season at xmas we have plenty of options. As there'll be lads with 6-8 games (and whatever sub appearances they've had in the league) under their belt who can step in and fill out the squad.

Then those squad players might become first team players and the people they push out of the starting line up play in the Europa conference.

I doubt Patterson, welch, Campbell , Dixon will be at Everton next season

In order to sell someone you need a buyer who will pay market rate and a replacement, particularly for McNeil and Beto who both started the last match.

Not impossible but there's no point doing anything that will leave us in a worse position than we are now. McNeil in particular might be a good time if Dyche pushes for him.

Yes i'd be after a high potential u21 player to come in as soon as the window opened.

See how they look and then go for the top notch starting RB who may take a bit of time to negotiate.



I think if were going for a DM and he's going to be a regular starter then thats someone who we need to spend big money on.

Also interesting to think who would be the best option and what type of DM.

For me, this would be the fulcrum of the team and they are the big names at teams:

Rodri
Tonali
Gravenberch
Zubimendi
Onana
Neves
Tchoumeni
Vitinha
Kimmich
Caicedo
Rice

Big names, big fees but big results on the pitch through big performances.

= Need to spend BIG money.

I love the fact that gana is classed as a defensive midfielder.

Its exactly what we did with allan. He plays in midfield and can tackle hes now a defensive midfielder. Despite neither of them having any other attribute that makes them a defensive midfielder.

I genuinely think ganas best position is at the tip of a midfield triangle. Where he can just press the opponents back line like mad and not have to worry about leaving gaps behind him. But garner has surpassed Him this season in pretty much every stat.

But i do agree that we need a defensive midfielder. Play a defensive triangle in midfield and have KDH and garner as 8s. That can press and attack when they need too, safe with the knowledge that theres a player screening the back line.

Tbh its a must if were hoping to get two fast attacking fullbacks
