January Transfer Window 2026

Ok - we were linked with two right backs that seemed to have any sort of substance in the stories this month in Norton-Cuffy and Holm. Neither of them have actually signed for the clubs that they're supposedly going to yet, so other teams aren't doing it either.
Yeah, I mean if you ignore the fact that the teams in the league and around us strengthened as soon as they could (like Villa getting players as early as possible to have a full squad, as did Bournemouth, Palace, Fulham, Tottingham, WHam and even S'land), no one's signed those two guys.

Nobody's signed a right back as far as I can tell

Also, worth mentioning that Bournemouth, Palace, Spurs and West Ham have all made major sales to fund those acquisitions. Sunderland are an exception, but they've bought a winger from the Israeli league, a keeper from the Swedish league and loaned a player from the Polish league - maybe they'll work out, but there wasn't a big queue of other interested top clubs there.

These are the teams that didn't qualify for the end stages of the Champions League:

Marseille/Pafos/Union/PSV/Athletic Club/Napoli/Copenhagen/Ajax/rankfurt/Slavia Praha/Villarreal/Kairat

Surely there is a player or two in there that may need to be moved on to keep finances correct that will be worth a look at before the summer?
