January Transfer Window 2026

Brooke Norton-Cuffy played the full 90 tonight.
If inter were that advanced in talks than that's bit of a strange one..

Expect our scouts were watching him on a dodgy box at Domino's.

if the window closes at 7pm with no signings…

There is a possibility TFG have made their mind up on the direction of the club and it does not include Moyes beyond May.
Why give him money if he isn’t being going to be here.

If however Moyes stays beyond May, then i’d find it very odd and concerning that when in a real position to get a European place…TFG didn’t give the go ahead to sign players, not even a loan player to boost our chances. Or correct glaring issues like LB.

We have a chance to hugely push the progress of the club! Hope we don’t come to regret it!

That deal doesn’t really make any sense because the loan fee for a few months is much higher than the equivalent amortisation would be just buying him so it would be worse for the books.
But if he bombs out and is worth 10m it's cheaper than paying 20m amortising 2m for 0.5/5 years and then selling him for 10m. So a 10m loss in 6 months.

Your view is way too simplistic

Or maybe they are right.

Maybe there is no value in Jan. Hardly anyone has bought. I can see it being scrapped soon as it’s become boring and a bit worthless.

Maybe they are right and come summer we go out and spend a shed load of money and buy loads of players. I think Moyes has done a good job. If the wins where home wins and we had been beaten in the away games then it would look a lot more normal. On the whole he’s done well and I enjoy watching us again. We do need to find a way to have shots again but hopefully with KDH an N’Diaye back that happens.
