Is it Moyes being way to fussy? Is it the transfer team not knowing or not negotiating well enough? Are the Friedkins only interested in Roma?, maybe the Friedkins don't want moyes to be so involved in the signings as they are planning on a different manager come the summer.

Big missed opportunity I feel, as a win tonight and we go 7th (I believe.)- We could easily end up fading to lower mid table obscurity.

Includes 3 penalties that though, so in open play he's scored one more than Barry who is 5 years younger, in his first season in the league, and has played 800 minutes less. I've liked Mateta since I saw him playing for Mainz about 7 or 8 years ago but the sort of money you'd be talking for someone who turns 29 in the summer just isn't even close to being worth it for what he is.
