January Transfer Window 2026

Do we think we get anyone in at this stage? Or just hold out for summer, saw something about us banking PSR, whatever that means.
It means the financial issues that have hamstrung the club for the last few years aren't really an issue at present, and really shouldn't be moving forwards provided we don't go down the Moshiri route of throwing fortunes around on players we get zero back on.

Maybe someone will come in (perhaps a loan?) but I doubt there's a huge amount to spend this window and I'm certain the preference of the club would be to keep the powder dry for summer if a first or second choice target isn't available this window, which currently seems to be the case.

You dont have to necessarily grow the club to increase his value...the pl value is on the up year after year, and that alone increases the value of every single member. Of course if you can also grow the club, but this does not equate to buying top players or fighting for titles. In fact we can see that the priority right now seems to be to maximise profits from our new stadium whilst spending very little in the squad. Yes we spent some money in the summer, but this is small compare to what's needed to fight at the top or even near the top.

we’ve had 1 window mate tbf

this summer will show a lot

ye agree here mate - will use loans hopefully for some good ones!!!

I can't see us buying a striker in this window, unless we know Barry has a guaranteed offer, which there's not been any news of as of yet (unless we've missed something)

If we know that we won't be making a Europe, I think we will see him getting a few mins under his belt towards the end of the season. Maybe the last game.

I can see him getting a loan out next season though
I was more thinking playing Graham off the left, not starting him but bringing him on in games and integrating him into the first team picture now we're a wide forward light with Grealish being injury

If the club is worth triple what they paid in a few years time, I’d say that would be an excellent outcome for all concerned.

Did you honestly expect emotional attachment from our American investors? If they are showing more interest in Roma it’s because a) they’re further along in that “project” and are legitimately challenging for honours, and b) it’s in Rome.
I think point A covers it as I doubt point B is as much as a factor as you think
