January Transfer Window 2026

We've had too many loser managers mate, I've forgotten what a winning manager even looks like.
Ancelotti, yet the NSNO ghouls on here still demanded him out. Then we got Benitez and nearly suffered an existence threatening relegation for the next three years.

We can vault those beloved forum members if they so wish to take a trip down memory lane.

….maybe because he was the last Everton manager to manage at Goodison and the first Everton manager to manage at BMD.

I suppose we could say Moyes was the first ever Manager to win a PL game at Goodison and BMD. Indeed, if the draw is kind next season, he could still be the first Everton manager to win an FA Cup tie at Goodison and BMD

What he’ll always be is the first Everton manager to lose an FA Cup tie at Goodison/BMD just as he’ll always be the first Everton manager to lose a league game at Goodison/BMD.

I think
Dont forget the draws 😉 Gotta love those draws...

Even reading the name of that bloated RS irritates mate , should be expunged from this clubs history .

Disgusting his name is written alongside the likes of Kendall , royle , catterick and the rest

Not sure who on here demanded Ancelotti out mate, I thought he left off his own accord to go to Real Madrid or ran there, the fool :) himself.
As for Benitez the reason was obvious, though he wasn't given any backing from the board and couldn't wait to sell Rodriguez which was enough for me anyway. Neither won anything at our club for different reasons. Also feel Benitez was well last his best when he came here.

Roma seem to be in the striker market, if we could get Ferguson on loan with a reasonable option I would be all over it.
Better at holding the ball up and finishing than what we have, strong, quick and still very young (21) but has experience. Based on his performances for Ireland he seems to take up better positions too which is a big problem with B&B, they are always in the wrong position IMO. I think he is a Moyes type striker and would be low cost/risk. But not sure if Roma want to or even can send him back.
Cant see any big spend this window but if we do spend anything it has to be on a right back......
