Summer Tete turned us down and Moyes said he didnt need a RB.

This is his 3rd window and who knows if he'll sign any at all?

Scouts scout them though. It's like being asked what you want for tea - poo or wee. No wonder Moyes turns most of them down.

I still see no evidence that the scouting department are suggesting and identifying the right players. It doesn't matter who the manager is until we are able to identify good players at affordable prices.

No idea why you think Thelwell is so good. Had to take a big step down from Everton and bombed so spectacularly he was booted out inside 6 months.

The guy is finished at the top level. Was out of his depth in truth.

Can understand moyes not fully on board with thelwell ideas that window and does not give him a pass for the lack of bringing in a rb had all that season and the summer to get one. That and keeping patterson on and as much as i rate coleman and respect him, expecting him to be backup rb

There’s 2 possible scenarios here.

1: He believes everything he reads from toffeetransfers and goodison news and takes it as gospel.

2: He’s fabricating stories as a stick to beat the manager with.

I assume , as an experienced manager Moyes has the final say on signings but again we don't actually know that.
