January Transfer Window 2026

Whoever scouted Barry and recommended him should be sacked. Don't 'kin dare let him recommend any other forwards Everton.

Let's wait though until the window is nearly closed before we sign a decent forward, even though we've known since the start of the season that Beto and Barry are poor, sounds like a plan.
We can also leave a right back for another 5 years, we've managed without one for the previous 5.

….he was impressive, terrific goal. It won’t have gone unnoticed.

Interesting background, born in Portugal but moved to Manchester 10 years ago and was with Rochdale before Wolves.

Should have bought ourselves … saying that if we did he’d probably be delivering uber eats rather playing prem level footy

Any team owners etc with ambition would have had targets lined up and signed within days of the window opening.

The fact we are still without any fullbacks is very worrying, because up to now our wingers are being left out to dry as they get zero support and get doubled up on and basically let's see what you can do sort of thing.

Moyes tactics have been found out

Don't normally make much of a fuss over January as my acceptance has always been we don't have the funds or have the appetite. However, with new ownership and allegedly some financial headroom gonna be really miffed if we don't get a right back in as a minimum.

The lad at Sevilla by all accounts is available and at a song.

Evan a loan would do we've got loads of loan spots spare to do SOMETHING.

Not only the position itself it's having an impact on centre half.

Also another forward option would be good but right back is imperative.

If we do anything it will be late in the window. You have clubs that have a clear need and mind to do business and are ready to strike early and then there is everyone else. There doesn't appear to be an impetus to doing something at present so it will be a "see what might come up" exercise over the final day or two. I still expect one loan signing at least.

There isnt gonna be a 14 point swing

but what is important is league position, for morale at the club and fanbase, attracting players, and also prize money which boosts our earnings and ability to spend and wiggle room with psr

we could finish anywhere between 5th and 16th at the moment, thats a huge huge swing so to not improve the side is harmful

i don’t think we need to go spending 50 mil on a striker or a top class midfielder at this stage, we do need that but it can wait till summer

but we cant neglect the full back positoons. simply a loan and say a £15-20mil drop on a right back and a left back to address the glaring deficiencies in our side improves us no end

they don’t have to be the finished article they simply need to ne a upgrade on obrien and mykolenko which can’t be too hard to achieve

We bought him as he had a similar profile to Beto, both Adam and Irvine went too watch him play.

Someone should send the Everton board highlights of yesterday’s game.

If it doesn’t worry them, they’re in the wrong job.

It couldn’t be more obvious that we desperately need fullbacks with a modicum of pace and attacking intent, a midfielder that can pass the ball forward and a competent striker.
