January Transfer Window 2026

Who'd he replace? Ndiaye or record signing for a teenager Dibling? Especially in light of the ructions in the support for not playing the latter.

Zakaria El Ouahdi contract up in summer 2027, is 23 years old and quick. A RB.
Mentioned him a few times in the summer. Big admirer of him personally. Always the question if players can make the step up to the PL, but I like him a lot. Also the only decent right back I could recommend from watching more than once.

How many much better offers would he have? . We heard all this with Grealish
Mad how some of our fans downplay the club we’re
Bowen has 100 g/a in just over 200 games. Most PL clubs would take him in their squad. He would deffo have offers from most clubs playing in Europa and alot in CL.

We are currently behind clubs like Palace in terms of attracting players. Nothing wrong with having high opinions of the club but we aren't a attractive club at the moment. That may change with TFG.

Tete preferred Fulham as an option, says it all.

Tete preferred London, not Fulham Football Club.

Possibly off topic.

As bad and disliked Thelwell was:

Garner
Illy
Tarks
Tim
Alcaraz

He did bring us some good lads..

( I know there was alot of bad, but look above before coming for me )
Given the lack of budget he had to work with, the PSR issues to navigate, and the fact he had no leadership for the last 18 months before the takeover; Thelwell should be lauded for what he achieved.

The Tim/Dobbin PSR 'swap' deal for example. Based on what we're seeing now that Tim has games under his belt that was daylight robbery on our part.

Tete never wanted to leave Fulham, they just took their good time to sort a new contract out.

Out of interest. What makes you say Palace are more attractive than Everton currently?
