Don’t shoot the messenger, but I’ve heard we’re going in for Bowen
Their fans wouldn’t let Captain Dildo or his son leave the stadium, absolutely no chance. If West Ham sold him, there Chairman would be in a headlock so so fast, like a certain someone previously...
He was fine until signing a striker. Otherwise I think he did well with limited funds.
I genuinely think he did really well given he had the biggest financial restrictions of any DoF in the league for about 3 yearsPossibly off topic.
As bad and disliked Thelwell was:
Garner
Illy
Tarks
Tim
Alcaraz
He did bring us some good lads..
( I know there was alot of bad, but look above before coming for me )
Not if we want to stay in the black and out of the red
Not a cat in hells chance they sell in their current predicament and if they were crazy enough to there are likely to be far more attractive options than us .Don’t shoot the messenger, but I’ve heard we’re going in for Bowen
I’d hope the same, but I think with Keane/Branthwaite (hopefully) coming back, and Armstrong to boost CM numbers while Gueye and KDH are away/out, Garner will be seen as enough cover behind JOB and Patterson. Even Merlin got a go there.I'd be hoping for a right back first and foremost. It's our weakest position. Even if only a loan for half a season we should really be trying something
They'd have 40 thousand Danny Dyers turning up at that God Awful stadium of theirs, demanding answers if they sold him now.West Ham could sell Bowen…they will have to fund signing all these awful strikers from Italy
I think a lot of our fans would like Grealish to sign this summer an he’d command a way way bigger wage than Bowen, possibly a million quid a month, that would be crackers in my opinion, but there will still be a want. The new owners are far too business savvy to start buying 29yr old Bowen for far more than he's worth, in a January window.
