Fabrizio says we have moved from monitoring to stepping up interest. 8 more stages from a bid if I remember correctly
Bye Bye Iliman Ndiaye...

(Well that is true. I'm just trying to point out that he's not in Semenyo's league as if he was he'd be wanted by clubs like the clubs who want Semenyo. I don't doubt he's got ability I just don't think he's anything special and he's not someone we need currently as we have options wide right and Johnson is not a centre forward by instinct and he doesn't prefer playing there either so whats the point of spending that kind of money just to shoe horn him in the side when we should be looking for more natural centre forwardslots of clubs still have ffp issues like villa and newcastle and can't afford to make this kind of signing in january
He isn't a no 9 but right now I'd prefer him there to Barry or BetoYep. This makes sense to me. If we not getting Grealish then Johnson maybe a really good buy. Not sure I see him as a natural number 9
I’ve not seen Johnson play that much but he always looked good against us for Forest. He’s also had a few good goal scoring seasons in the Championship and Prem so he can clearly finish and score. As a general rule lots of good players can struggle to settle or make an impact at Spurs. Just look at Stevie P.Look I don't think it will happen ( Palace more attractive for him FFS ?) but it would make sense to get him in now if either we don't intend to get Grealish or a permanent or intend to play him central or we anticipate N'dayie moving on in the summer.
I've no crystal ball but wouldn't be surprised at either scenario.
Imo was the sort of move we would bring in to get a striker one who could cover both positions as a cf and outwide. Unless we sold beto, i would like a real number 9 to come in just feel will wait till the summer and stick with barry and betoYep. This makes sense to me. If we not getting Grealish then Johnson maybe a really good buy. Not sure I see him as a natural number 9
I think you are right but another 20 games with Barry and Beto will be terribly frustratingImo was the sort of move we would bring in to get a striker one who could cover both positions as a cf and outwide. Unless we sold beto, i would like a real number 9 to come in just feel will wait till the summer and stick with barry and beto
It's quality available for a decent price. Find us two full backs for that and we can talk.If we did have £35m to spend in January that's 2x full-backs for me not a winger whose only skill is scoring goals when playing in a side that doesn't create much.
You can still get him and a RB…could be a McNeil sale and put money towards himThought everybody was crying out for fullbacks and a striker? Good player but do we need him or our priorities.
Apparently we're not allowed to take Spurs fans views seriously as this is what I was told on reporting their critique of RicharlisonSpurs fans pissing themselves that they could get decent money for Johnson.
He's their Dwight McNeill.
That would be decentAssuming theres ANY truth to this Johnson stuff...Heres what I could see for the window:
Brennan Johnson RW purchase 35m
Kobbie Mainoo CM loan
Dovbyk CF loan
Vitinho RB purchase 10m
Would people be happy with that? I dont think we realistically have the funds to go purchase a great striker so I would be surprised to see them do anything but a loan.
