I'd take Zirkzee - i think he's unfairly maligned. From the few times I've seen him on the telly he looks very neat and tidy. Clearly a confidence player who's playing in a poor team (it's beyond me how they're above us). I reckon he'd thrive with the quality we have in that part of the pitch.

Mainoo I'd be less sure about fitting into our team. He's the more exciting prospect and likely better player but giving game time to Man United youngsters so they're ready for next season? Nah.

Zirkzee is a 10.
We desperately need a 9.

Obviously? And to attain what ? Knockout phase of Europa Confrence or to push on up Prem ? Because that's vastly different goals and therefore players.

Bobble saying the club don't think signings would guarantee a European place finish so they are very unlikely to try apart from loans. They won't let Mcneil go as aren't looking to replace him till summer.

Looks like we are only going to use 1 transfer window a year then.

Don’t forget it’s a World Cup year as well so not allowed to sign anyone until the end of July. Then we have to wait for all of the top clubs to do their business first, so actually we have a window of about 3 weeks per year to do our transfer business.

So what do we do then??? Just refuse Europe for 4 years and in that time we lose our best players because they want European football. And we could walk to the last 8 of the conference with the squad we have now,

Well he has like 4 goas in 43 games for Utd. So him being a better number 9
Than what we have is very debatable

Love Mainoo but I can't see it for lots of reasons:

Doubt United would loan to us
Huge Fee
Big Wages
Better options than us

We should be aiming as high as possible. It's up to the owners to invest if we make it.

To be fair to people on here, I went all in on what I’d heard about Dibbling in the summer and got roasted on here for it. I never claimed to be sourced up or in the know at all, I was just lucky to know some people who were close to him. So I can understand the reluctance to post some may have. It’s a jungle out there

If memory serves me right. People were happy to take you on your word about the dibling thing because you said you just happen to know people who knew him.

But then you started talking about other transfers and the math wasnt mathing. Thats when you were called out for it, wasnt it?
