January Transfer Window 2026

Will be Franculino Dju and a right back
I’d like that, he looks very good but will
Moyes want another youngster with no prem experience. Moyes is a bit similar to dyche in that respect.
I didn’t want Moyes back, but fair play he’s doing well, but you wonder what’s the long game, we can’t let Moyes build a late 20’s squad and then walk away in 2/3yrs if he won’t play youngsters and is obsessed with prem experience, let’s have it right, Barry is only starting, because Beto is so bad.

I think ideally we would be looking for an experienced striker, off the top of my head I would struggle to think of any that would be worth bringing in at the moment tbh.

Toney now firmly not an option. Vlahovic maybe but I'm skeptical that we would commit to the finances required.

….he’ll play youngsters with little or no PL experience if they’re good enough, have no doubt about that. He’s turned O’Brien into a regular at 24, established Garner as a top midfielder at the same age, selected Barry over Beto, Branthwaite a regular at 23 until his injury.

Moyes selects young players in our team, off the top of my head, probably Grealish the only 30yo he bought in the last window.

Come on you can’t be serious, garner and Branthwaite prem regulars well before Moyes turned up. O’Brien has payed in the French league and Moyes is playing him out position, because he doesn’t fancy the Right backs we have, he’s picking Keane over him in his preferred position. IE more prem experience

And he’s got no history of developing young players

Agreed - how many times does he need to fail before people stop going on about him.

He’s been rubbish for years.
Thats a bit daft, he is 2 years younger than Barry, aay too early to write off. He has done well for Ireland and has all the skills and physical atributes, I think he just needs to find the right club. A loan with an option would be low risk and well worth it I reckon.

That was a strange interlude on here.

I wonder if we can get someone from another place with women that want to post on a forum of thirsty men. Even if it is a ruse for our more risque posters to obtain incriminating photos from our more desperate member's members. It was a wild ride.
I’m still convinced it was a Chico multi.

You should try stand up comedy mate, you would be good at it.

Just another point on O’Brien he’s only playing CB when we have injuries, like v Bournemouth and he gut MOM. We all think in a year or so Branthwaite and O’Brien will be the CB pairing, but Moyes ain’t developing him to become a prem CB

Barry’s career is on an upward trajectory, each season is better than the one before.

Ferguson had a good few months 4 years ago and since then has been dropped by Brighton (for Danny welbeck) and has had two failed loans, along with rumours over his lifestyle choices.

It’s a gamble and it might pay off - similar gambles for us on younger players that have gone wrong haven’t (Van der meyde, Drenthe)

I'm sold. Moves a bit like Southampton/early Liverpool Mane

He's the closest we will get to the impossible transfer that was discussed in this thread earlier today imo.

Young, relatively obscure player, not yet snapped up by a club from a major European league - but not looking too far off the quality required. Would expect he might need to be given an adjustment period but defo looks a player to me.
