I think we really should stop letting managers decide who we buy and start operating like a 21st century football club.
Absolutely, they can do all future signings based on a poll on here. Probably couldn't do any worse they have managed up to now. They could then 100% blame us every time a signing didn't work out and sack us as fans.

Repeating myself from the summer and Chelsea but if Newcastle are willing to pay that we HAVE to sell him. The squad needs re-investment and funds aren't coming from almost anywhere else. At least in this window. Factor minimal drop off in relation to current output and any sensible club with a competent sell on strategy in our situation wouldn't think twice.
Should always look to sell every player has a price is what we do keep hold of players too long. Same to richarlison get them in thr team buy a younger player to be under them then sell to take richs place in team.

but signing players without the manager's consent is not good either
remember Rodriquez: Carlo said he didnt bring him here to defend, while it was clear from the offset FSW didnt want him.
now sure that is not with every player but for example Dyche would want strong players up top example

How does Lampard leaving impact the Danjuma transfer? Will we still get him Or does is need a manager sign off?
is done the other deal for the other player toffeenut said that was happening today has not gone on because lampard has left maybe because it was cash not a loan.
