Well it's not poor planning is it when on the 10th of Jan they didn't know Dyche would be the manager at the end of the window? lol if they didn't sack him 2 weeks later we'd still have Lampard and have 4 strikers for 1 position.

I understand you're frustrated but you don't half say some dumb things.

It is poor planning to loan out a player in a position we have no depth, before you are sure you can get a replacement. We did not have to loan him on 10 January is my point. It's not a dumb point at all, and it was very obvious on 10 January we were likely soon heading into another managerial search. Everyone knew the direction of travel for Lampard.

You said yourself that they were lashing in bids that we didn't have the cash to pay for. That's not trying, it's theatre.

Its what the guy on Talksport said late last night. Said he spoke to plenty of chairmen/close ties to club's who made the statement about what we were doing.

Then he said he spoke to someone close to Everton who stated we were "scrambling" for players.

We didn't have a plan. Whatever funds we had, we couldn't attract the players he had on his very very poor list. Ended up a free for all hoping something would land
