I think that's a good point actually it's not really a gamble at all is it. If we spend and then don't make the top 4 then that money is easily recouped by selling one of a few saleable assets in the summer. Where is the gamble?

As much as i love Fellaini, if someone is willing to spend 30 million on him this window, and Moyes got the lot, i'd be seriously tempted to cash in. Moyes could do serious damage with that money and bring in 3 or 4 real quality additions and make us a better and stronger squad overall.

Wholeheartedly agree with this post. Shame diame went before we sold Rodwell or sure we would have been more in to him.
