2025/26 James Tarkowski

IMO he's been a disgrace. First half of the season he was like a lunatic out of control.

He clearly hasn't relished playing with Keane and looks like he's dug his heels in until JOB was chosen and then Branthwaite came back in.

A thoroughly unprofessional season we've had off him.
This is a fair assessment.

Starting to seem like he's done his bit for EFC.

NON STOP commitment during some of the worst years of ownership. Dressing room must've been so pressured.

Helped us survive, but now losing the er ' pace' he had. This and the relentless guessing game of playing next to Michael Keane don't help him and he's looked more rash at times dealing with both...

but I feel he's a useful back up for 1-2 seasons more max, to what looks like the future of JB and JoB at CB.

THANK YOU JAMES.

I’m in complete agreement. People seem to have very short memories and have forgotten how bad he was in the first half of the season.

He's been one of my favourite Everton players since he arrived. But he started off appallingly in the US summer tournament and then got worse up until the last couple of months.

He looked shot mentally rather than anything around pace.

Hopefully his head is sorted now.

Dont think he was fully fit to be honest, bad injury he picked up and it took him a while to get back to muster.

Branthwaite makes him (and everyone around him) better.

That still doesn't excuse his ill discipline in on and off the ball incidents this season though. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, all those cards…

You must REALLY have it in for Tim, Garner, KDH and Jack…

Didn't he come back in the Summer after a horrible hamstring injury that would have kept 99.9% of other players out for so much longer.

He wasn't great first half of the season at all, but some of these takes are just stupid.

A reckless bully ? that kind of shout from a poster tells me he has never played a 90mins of football in his life..
Maybe he got bumped in to when he was a kid and was to scared to put his feet back on the field again and now blames Tarks for it.

Yet he also say's he's played rugby 🤔

Tarks will put himself infront of anything for the shirt, and we have certainly needed that rare mentality in recent years..
