Some people say he can only pass the ball, yeah, in a team that can't pass the ball lol
@NathDogg I couldn’t agree more with your post. I didn’t see the whole press conference only the clip they asked about James and he gave me no confidence about him wanting to keep him.I said the same on the manager thread.
It just doesn't make sense to me, and he should have answered the Coleman question exactly the same, if he's not bothered by individuals?!
We've got a us tour planned, where many Colombians may want to go and see us and James, plus he's still a quality player and world class on his day - even if James wants out (which I don't think is tryr) or Benitez doesn't want him, he should have talked James up and made out he's going to be a part of what we do next season, just to potentially drive any fee up.
He want us to forget his red past but obviously he's still got beef with James that he hasn't forgot?
Just sad really, James would be one of the last on my list to get shut of.

Benitez had the same unfriendly demeanor towards James when giving press conferences while at Madrid. He always seems bothered that the press focuses so much on James’ status. What Benitez doesn’t seem to understand is that James in addition to being a footballer, is a marketing machine with millions of followers among them many Colombians who probably purchased preseason tickets because they want to see James playing next weekend in Florida. So like you said, it would have been nice if Benitez had spoken with the tour in mind and the many new Everton followers that will be there because of James.

Glad to see that R.A.F.A. has a ruthless streak and is willing to put the club above anything else. James is lazy and pretentious and thinks he’s above the club.
Also very glad to hear R.A.F.A. speaking so passionately about the club in the media yesterday and vowing to give us enough success to earn him the right to still be here when the new stadium opens. If he wants to still be here by that point then it shows he’s committed and not just here for a very short-term payday. Either way we just can’t keep getting a new manager every season. It’s madness and doesn’t work. Our new manager will now need all our support and I’m sure he’ll get it. As blues we’re known as a fairly logical, patient
and reasonable fan-base.
That's pretty obsceneSome people say he can only pass the ball, yeah, in a team that can't pass the ball lol

We actually do have some idea. About a month ago James did an Instagram live and he stated that If he stay another year at Everton that would be fine for him. And it really would be good for him to stay if he wants to get back to playing with Colombia National Team and go to the WC.No one knows if James wants to stay at the club or not. If he wants to leave then fine, let him leave. But i have no idea what he is thinking.
I dont think he's lazy at all. He just can't stay injury free. Whether we can afford to accommodate such an injury prone player is another question, but its not his fault. It's just one of those things.
