Big clubs can "afford" such luxuries, im not sure we can.

On the other side of it though big clubs can buy equally talented players instead as Bayern did by turning down James and signing Coutinho. I'm pretty sure we can't do that. We aren't going to be able to say no thanks to James if he's there to be signed and then turn around and sign Havertz or whoever.
