...dodgy hamstring might only have 90mins in it before it pops. We'll know after 20mins if he's protecting it.

Would rather our players played their first matches after an injury for us, not their national team though. But thats the world we live in.

Ha ha. Imagine Barry in the derby? he;s been a great servant for the price for us so far, but never a starter anymore.
...not so sure. I think it largely depends on the opposition. I think he was unconvinced by McCarthy during a long spell when I genuinely think the player was (perhaps subconsciously) protecting his hamstrings. McCarthy let the shackles off against Arsenal because he was playing for his future and won Koeman over. Unfortunately, that all out effort meant his hamstring went again in the first half of the Derby, and the rest is history.

Cannot stand Eamon Dunphy. Any chance he gets he sticks the knife into McCarthy. Wouldn't know a good player if he seen one.
