Other players in the midfield etc have been given the task of being more creative. Davis. barkley . 2 wingbacks. Snides. And 2 front front men. That should be enough creativity if they produce. Helped shore up an onslaught if possession stoke had in the first half.

Spot on. He came in their last night and did a lot of the closing down that Stoke were getting off scot free with in the first half. The manager's decision to go without him was poor judgement and the shape he adopted should have lost us the game by HT. The introduction of McCarthy was key to a better second half.

I honestly have no idea what people are watching in these games. The default position it seems is to that he was part of the old regime and too close to the previous manager so he must have to go. It's just idiocy. Look what's in front of your nose.
