Ronko gives the impression he wants to keep him (at least until the summer), but I guess he's got to have game time and if that's going to be an issue then maybe he will agitate for a move. I would like to see him stay, but if he went I don't think it would have a massive effect on our season, though I can't see us getting more than we paid, but what do I know.
Would keep him, we need players to come in and out of midfield as the season procresses with this high tempo pressing game,

Indeed. Chelsea have rarely changed their starting line up this season because the reserves aren't quite as good.
Leicester kept a very consistent line up last season too as the rest of squad wasn't as good.

bit perplexed as to why we are contemplating selling James McCarthy. We can't have enough good players, and JM is a good player. Full of energy and quality and if he can keep his 'Arsenal game' form up he is a valuable asset to the squad...... and a perfect stand in for Gana whilst he is away.
He may not start every game, but we will get injuries, loss of form, suspensions to any preferred 3 centre midfielders. He will get plenty of chances to stake a claim and keep the shirt this season and beyond.

Average under martinez alright but so was every single player (bar maybe lukaku in goals scored)if one views overall performances. Koeman must rate him somewhat as when fully fit he plays him. He deserves his chance to stake a claim in first team and would be an excellent addition to bring on .

I would be amazed if he starts 3-4 of the remaining 17 games barring injury. Basically he's 5th choice for 2 spots.
