If he wasn't arsed about playing every game I'd defo keep him by the way.
But I imagine that he wants to play.
He's done here, especially with Gana, Schneiderlin and Davies now all in front of him.
One dimensional, offers nothing creatively and impotent anywhere near the opponent's penalty area.
If we can get a few million on top of what we paid for him, it's a great deal.
He's just a runner and one of too many 'good, but not good enough' players we have invested our hopes in for the last two decades and more.
Wonder who has more backwards passes...He has scored 5 more goals during his career than Schneiderlin during a similar span.
Just saying like....
Harsh Mooms. I won't address the Country allegiance bait. A decent player who fulfills a role, definitely Premier league level but maybe Everton have moved on.Judas traitor, good riddance
Hopefully never ever plays at Goodison again

May I suggest that's comparing apples and pears Papa?
Thirteen of McCarthy's 25 career goals came while playing for Hamilton Academicals.
If you count Wigan as top flight, he scored 12 in 120 games for them and 100 for Everton.
In 262 games for Southampton and the Mancs, Schneiderlin has bagged 15 goals. So nothing to chose between them in that respect?
