Yes he can play in two postions but the fact is he wants out and has asked to leave, McCarthy's stats are not bad in fact for his postion they are good, You bring goals into it when we all know the reason he got 11 last year is because he played as a forward

Why did you leave out the season where McCarthy scored no goals in 34 games for Wigan?

One thing that is positive about McCarthy is his age as for other qualities this is very much a subject of debate. Whilst not happy about getting more Wigan players we have no choice except to trust in the manager that he has got it right.

Ok 0 then Point is there records at DM scoring goals are hardly miles apart are they?

His stats stand up to a player people rave about (Carrick) so to suggest he's a bad signing is stupid, No he can not play as a forward like Felli but guess what I dont think RM wants him to
