Went under the radar (especially in the first half) of how much the ball stuck to both him & N'Diaye, which gave us an outlet until they began tiring

Yeah would say the same for N’Diaye as well. They’re both so far above anything we’ve had in recent years, in terms of composure, quality - different level. Get a couple good fullbacks around them and a decent centre forward and they’ll be even better.

Id suggest that last night did better for Grealish than if he was able to just set up and attack all match. I suspect national team managers quite like seeing an attacker willing to put in a hard defensive shift. They dont have to wonder about their willingness in a world cup to do the hard work, makes their job easier.

Does he need an operation on this niggling injury? He looks like he's really struggling at moments in games, and whilst it might be my imagination, I feel he's doing anything he can not to put his foot through the ball when the opportunity presents itself.

I hate that there are so many players hoarded by big club that you could build a team around. He was never needed at MC.

Think Man City fans will disagree, he was very much an integral part of their treble winning season. Think the price tag of £100m was a bit too much, and maybe why he had a lot of doubters.Briliant footballer and so glad we have him
