2025/26 Jack Grealish

Ah, like a Gareth Barry type deal. With the new financial rules coming in next season maybe there is a deal to be done. I'm conflicted on this because he is a good player and seems a good fit for the club in terms of his demeanour but he is very expensive, particularly for his age.

Jack Grealish will be playing top flight football until he's 46, vault me!

Jack Lofthouse.

I still think we should sign him no matter the price, but I'm confident the club will get the negotiations right.

The injury is a concern, but you don't throw away a player of his quality to gamble on some younger players who may or may not work out.

His presence is a difference of minimum 15 points for us in a season - and he doesn't rely on pace so he can keep going for 2-3 seasons easily.

He also takes the pressure of the other players with his ball keeping ability which has been incremental in getting those away wins this season
I'm watching a different jack Grealish, but agree he has improved us in moments and certainly tried.

I asked a question on the Beeb's ask me anything so I asked "what is more important earning ungodly sums of money most people can't imagine or helping to restore a footballing Giant back to where it belongs, competing for the title year after year and become a hero at one of footballs establishment clubs? I'm not exactly expecting an answer too that though.

Can't work out if we already have an agreement for next season or of he's desperate to sign. I think we could potentially get better value elsewhere
