2025/26 Jack Grealish

It'll be another loan.

No club is shelling out a transfer fee of 25 mil and then going on to pay him like 200k a week. A few years back I would have said that one of the top European clubs would take a punt but honestly the finances of the Premier League are getting too much even for the likes of Bayern, Inter, Atleti, Juve etc...

The player will push for it, City won't want him on the bench with the wages he's on. So I don't see how City could talk us in to paying 25 mil when he we could do a loan and have him on a free the following summer.

The only curve ball would be if another Prem club came in for him, but it'd have to be Villa or one of the "top 6". Can't see him going to Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea or Liverpool. Maybe Spurs, but at least right now you'd reckon Spurs aren't enough of a draw relative to us to make him move his family out of the North West. Villa could tempt him back, but is he an Emery player?

We should just buy him while he's injured.

Means no one else will be in for him.

For £25m & £250k week, we've pulled City's pants down.

It's not our money anyway and it's what the player wants that's the most important thing.

His age is one of the factors against signing him for some. I don't think it's a big deal personally. Speed has never been a part of his game, class is permanent. Pirlo & Modric would still have walked into most teams well into their 30's, and I think Grealish is a similar situation. No more than £25m tho.

The key is building the team around them to cover their lack of pace. Those players didn’t play on the wing surrounded by other slow players. If we have Grealish in central areas with legs around him then I’m all for keeping him. If our entire game revolves around getting it outside to him and we have Mykolenko behind him and Gana Gueye inside then I’d rather we didn’t play that way.

I’d love to see KDH and Grealish as two 8s ahead of Garner sitting deeper, with George/Dibling and Ndiaye out wide.

It's either Tyreek or Jack. The club has to buy merlin plus 2 full backs, a replacement for Beto and that no.10 from Forest. Not enough PSR to go round.
We have waaay more than enough PSR to go around.

Club injected 40+m for the womens shares, and can spend that prior to August 1st, as well as the revenue for this season is going to be way more than the prior one. We need 4 wingers anyway, not sure where you think we would get a starter for less than 25-30m to replace Jack.
