2025/26 Jack Grealish

Think going up to 25m would be a touch too much for my liking given his age and the wage on top- although the flip side is he does provide a lot of value on and off the pitch.

Think his remaining book value for City will be 20m max so I’d be offering them book value to take his salary off them and think they would likely be fine with that if we could do the deal with the player.

I would guess his wages would be far lower if we were to sign him permanently- There is no way we offer much more than £150k per week for him on a permanent deal.

The two options I've seen mentioned are £20/25m in the summer, or another loan with him on a free at the end of next season. So we would either pay his higher wages next year on loan but no transfer fee, or pay in the summer to get him on reduced wages.

No one's paying £25m and big wages for this cat.

Put the dough towards young, fast winger with sell on value - Fofana, Summerville et al.

I know 'Pep ruined him' and 'he wins us free kicks' but there's much bigger priorities for this squad.
