2025/26 Jack Grealish

I'd tie him down.

I’m not sure how these things work with footballers, and I know given what he earns it’s a snip, but when we did the tour they said he’d bought a box on either a three year or five year lease which suggested to me he thought there was a good chance he’d be staying beyond his loan
I think he joined & we signed him with the full intention of making him permanent so Jack getting a box seems logical. A heavy injury at 31 can change things on both sides.

has anyone heard about where he is doing his rehab? It seems to me that everything has gone a bit quiet from Citys side which suggests he’s staying. I don’t think he does slow us down and even when he does he create that many chances it’s ridiculous.

No brainier to buy him and have Ndiaye, Grealish, George, Dibling and KDH for those 3 begin the striker. Sadly I think alcaraz will miss out and McNeil is one foot out the door.

We all have our sexual peculiarities but I don’t think here is the place to discuss them , well not since @Frank and the goth at the bus stop thread
Back to the football, would you sign Grealish on a permanent contract and what’s the max price you would pay
I would sign him, don't know about the price, players play for longer these days, his injury may affect the price.
Think he would be worth it to us, we have missed him.

McNeil only has one foot, so that's him gone.

I'd pass on him tbh.
He's 31 this year.
We need pace, we're too slow getting up the pitch.

If we had other attack minded players perhaps Jack wouldn't be holding the ball up so much. An overlapping full back to compliment would be a starting point.

Even if that isn't the case, people shouldn't underestimate the value of experience, been there and done that, to help settle the team too. Especially if we do get into Europe. In the big games to win the free kicks, keep possession and slow the game to our tempo, every side needs a talisman.

He's got another two years at the top (at least) and it's rare for us to have players of that quality, if he wants to stay and the money isn't a deal breaker, we should be trying to keep him.

Wish he’d drifted to become more central throughout his career, rather than Pep plonking him on the touchline then the bench. Could have aged gracefully commanding games in the middle.

Absolutely gutted for him. Looks like he’d found a proper new footballing home. No club, particularly one not owned by a country, can afford to be sentimental. But it is incredibly tempting. Be much easier if he was a really annoying tit.
