2025/26 Jack Grealish

I think the Decision on Jack could possibly give us an insight on what's going on before anything else.

We'll know before the time comes if he's sticking around, and if so, it's more than likely Moyes is too.

The change i have seen from him is 'frustration'. Normally a smiling, cheeky chappie on the pitch. To me, of late, he has shown a huge amount of frustration in the players he has around him. He simply does not trust other players to produce anything of worth, so he tries to do it alone. Now he tries to take on 2 -3 defenders and isn't getting past them.
What he excels at is demanding multiple defenders to come out toward him and that frees up space for others. Whilst the likes of KDH use that to their advantage and make decisive, commanding movements to allow Grealish to utilise him, the likes of Myko, Tim. Rohl etc, of late, seem to sit back and let him crack on.
Ndiaye had similar issues last season with Myko and Dacoure, but the difference is Ndiaye is quicker, more direct and a better dribbler so was able to do it on his own.

So the reported price at his age is definitely an issue but reading that article is 2 goals & 6 assists bad for an Everton wide player ?

If you compare him and ndiaye it’s

18 4 2
Vs
21 2 6
I think that’s a decent return for an Everton wide player, just not for someone who’s the best paid player at the club by a mile. If I was Ndiaye I’d wonder why that player was paid over five times more than me for a similar output, just as any of us would at work.

The wages thing is always a potential issue although I suspect grealish being on the money would cause me less of a problem than Beto , Coleman , myko and Keane earning more
