2025/26 Jack Grealish

Deserved the 2nd yellow card, as has been mentioned the lack of consistency with other teams and players is frustrating.

No idea if he deserved the 1st yellow but I did 'enjoy' the fact that near the end one of their players was aggressively reacting to an Everton player and the ref went over and pointed to his head for him to calm down. Maybe he should have done that to Grealish for the 1st, maybe he did and I missed it.

On his performance, there were a couple of times when he glided past defenders, my suggestion is to do that more. He does slow the play down a bit too often, which is frustrating.

He should know better, he’s an (was?)England international, a senior player in the side and a veteran of the premier league, Harrison Armstrong showed the entire side and him how to behave and play last night, getting wound up over poor officiating shows a lack of discipline in a very bad performance.
It is just his nature, he has always been petulant. You love to see it when he does it well.

He doesn’t give a toss lads.
If he did he wouldn’t have got himself sent off knowing we are already desperately short of players.

A cup exit at the weekend beckons whilst he takes a break.
What a load of tosh!
Of course he does, that is why he was so wound up - how can you deduce he doesnt give a toss?

So desperate to turn on players

I dont blame Grealish for being incensed. The ref should be ashamed and the VAR officials binned. Utter disgrace that tackle. Keanes red card pales in comparison.
I like Grealish. He hasn't come just to collect the wages.
I hope he stays. He could play a bit like a lateral Modric. Already has a partner in crime in KDH, just needs a left back to suit.

Everytime he gets the ball even when we're on a quick counter attack he slows everything down and allows the opposition to get back and reset. Yes he's good on the ball and very rarely gives it away but slows the game down too much for me.

A stupid booking which resulted in the dismissal but I can't blame him too much for a heat-of-the-moment, frustrated reaction.

Not only has he just seen his teammate sent off for possibly the most ridiculous reason ever in Premier League history, he's also played the entire game with absolutely zero support either behind, alongside or in front of him on the field.

Probably went into the game dreading it, knowing he'll need to put in a Messi-type performance to have an impact on the game.

Still, in line with I assume all sendings off, fine him a week's wages and tell him to try harder not to react in the future.

I find Grealish quite frustrating to watch because when he does cross his end product can be exceptional.

However, he takes too long on the ball, only passes to players he trusts (not Myko) and rather takes a foul than beat his man.

I would prefer him to take a leaf out of Ndiaye’s book and try to get past his man, move the ball quicker or get more end product.
