2025/26 Jack Grealish

Why are you astonished? He got 1 yellow for petulance/dissent... then made a foul couple mins later... then followed it up with sarcastic clapping right after again. He was fully in the refs memory and wasn't gonna take much to see him shown red.

Team already down to 10 and lacking numbers, and he does this complete lack of professionalism.

Couple games after rumours of him missing game on 27th coz of partying too.

I've said it before, but I'd definitely be looking elsewhere for a winger at end of season. As much as I do like him on his day, his age and other factors, I think there is better options to look at.
Give him a break...hes finally realized what the rest of us are realizing- we are sh$t and going nowhere, just like his England chances. If you look up and your options are Barry or Mykelenko, wouldnt you be pissed?

Clapping sarcastically at the ref has been a yellow card for at least the last few seasons.

They cracked down on all forms of dissent. If you're a professional player you know it's not worth testing the referee..
I feel like this rule should become null and void when the ref is deserving of dissent on the basis of gross incompetence and/or blatant corruption.

If you don't have a functioning left back with an ability to cross the ball it's z waste of time having Jack because whilst he brings control that goes hand in hand with slowing the game down and inviting fouls.

His red card was pure petulance and ridiculous for a player of his experience. And yes the inconsistency stinks

He made the occasion all about himself trying to be a hard man. Instead he looked like a mouth who he needed a good slap.
He should concentrate on the game at hand and try getting the ball into the box early instead of dilly-dallying, muppet.

Watched the second half. Thought he was rubbish from what I saw? pretty ineffectual, couldn't seem to get the best of their right back, often caught out of position coming too narrow off the ball... then got frustrated, threw a few tantrums and got himself sent off.

He, like us, needs the good players back
