I have often thought this, I go on all forums and don't dislike any, I go to work thinking I know A bit from what I read from the 'ITK's' and I have been doing it for years and have never got first wind of any signing that hadn't already been in one of the papers, then I realised I support Everton and we dont sign player and it all stopped in '09 AS that is when we stopped, and there were ITK's notably Everton-4-Ever on NSNO he said that Ken****e himself was sorting Pienaar deal out when everyone to a man thought it was dead after the city game and it was too late, he knows people at the very top LCAB don't help himself as for some reaseon he talks in riddles and thats putting it kindly, whereas his buddy THT talks english which helps and they too are quite clearly sourced up

My golden Itk Internet moment came when I broke on a Middlesbrough forum they were going to sign Lee Dong Gook. I got hounded by them, not a nice experience, and then 2 days later the Mirror ran the story.

They put in an application for a work permit a week later.

I'm all over the Korean soccer scene, man.

How many Club staff do we have?
How many of them will be privy to transfer information? Will the coaching staff???

I take the point being made, tbf.

By and large it's a matter of people asking our ITKs to guide them on a media story about the club rather than them coming on apropos of nothing and declaring a club interest.

They're basically like the character Deep Throat in All the President's Men: "Ask questions and I'll deny what's not rue" etc.

Still a very useful string to the forum's bow though.

I'd love to advocate this place as being the "ITK" forum. But we're living on former "glory"...

I hope I'm made to look to look a fool and someone wades in with some information, but I reckon people have moved on, and the Club have got a grip of things.

I get where GOT is coming from here.

Fox and LCAB can only say so much on here for obvious reasons. I'm 100% certain they are ITK, and defo know more than me so I like their input.

I'll always go back to LCAB calling the Heitinga transfer ages before it happened. That was enough for me. Then there is many many Twitter conversations with facts.

But I can see why a site owner would only want concrete info on their site.

Absolutely this. I don't think LCAB, THT, or Foxy can be put into question as far as I'm concerned.

I trust them when it comes to all transfer dealings, and their word is the only one I'll listen to during the summer, and January. Especially LCAB's. Obviously they can't put all the information out there because it would put the deals at risk, but they've called transfers far before they've even happened in the papers as other Blues have said in this thread.

You say 2009, I say we didnt sign a player for 2 and a half years.

I was told the exact day which Naismith would sign, I was told when he had his medical.

As for where these people get info from, I know where, its not really something that needs repeating tho.

Yet again, Naismith was common knowledge. You know it's common when it's on the GOT homepage FFS.

Nobody asked where the information is coming from.?

We're going to sign another player aren't we? - Let's see if someone puts the name here, before it's reported elsewhere. Because Gibson, Jelavic and Naismith were all in the likes of the Mirror before on here.
