Why are you posting about israel and palestine?

Historically the Palestinians have been dispossessed, humiliated, degraded and killed routinely by the Israeli state.

Maybe you disagree.

And no one has ever cared. Now the Palestinians (Hamas) fight back and they are the bad guys!!

This is HAMAS. Hamas does not govern Palestine.

Unfortunately, like it or not but Hamas does have effective governance of Palestine… a bunch of terrorists running a country, attacking innocents in Israel via missiles, and machine guns at music or peace festivals, but never engaging the Israeli army or military……

I’m not sure the ‘Palestinians’ have done this at all, otherwise tens of thousands of them would have crossed the border. This has been done by Hamas terrorists which are a much lesser number, but it’s both the Israeli population and Palestinian population that will suffer…….

I honestly just reckon this didn't happen.

I'm fairly confident, without going conspiracy nut, that Israel and most of their allies knew this was coming to some extent.

Again, what exactly is the motivation for this being reported.

It’s like we’re actively trying to stoke the flames of this.

The problem is mate you have absolute tools like Paul Golding of britains first trying to stoke up things up against any Palestinian supporters.

A lot of people cared and still do...and they were and are marginalised for it because the Israeli state have powerful allies in Washington and London. But no matter what happens in the coming days the Palestinians will never be abandoned or forgotten.

I find it pretty unbelievable that they were unaware of such a build up of arms etc in Gaza. Israel has informants everywhere within Gaza. I’ve also no problem in thinking that they would be quite happy to sacrifice some of their own citizens for some political goal.

TBF the Germans had informants all over the UK in WW2, it was just that MI5 turned nearly all of them so they reported back only what MI5 wanted them to.

I would imagine a similar thing may have happened here.

No mate, I do not disagree. I believe the Israeli state and it’s rulers has been working to change the physical ownership of the country for their own benefit, but I do not agree with setting off thousands of dumb missiles aimed at what is an innocent population. If you or I were an Israeli citizen at the moment what do you think would be our reaction to the events of the last couple of days……

The utter mindless savagery of this is so depressing. It has ruined any chance of a lasting peace for a long long time and will hurt the decent Palestinians who desire peace the most.

I would imagine a similar thing may have happened here.

Perhaps although there are a few videos of Israelis appearing who seem mystified that Hamas could get anywhere near the border walls without being detected by all the surveillance and sensors etc built into the wall

There's no place for whataboutary.

What Israel has done in no way justifies what Hams have done (and are now doing).

Both sides are evil and innocent people have died and will continue to die.

Todays death toll is a fraction of what Israel have subjected Palestinians to. Israel murdered 500 Palestinian children in one month during operation striding edge (or whatever it was called).
