It's the callous indifference to Palestinian life that does for me.
They've been being ethnically cleansed since 1948. Corralled into smaller and smaller areas. More and more land and resources stolen each week. Israel's defenders will point out that the Palestinian population is increasing in defence of this argument, but this only shows that they don't understand the difference between genocide and ethnic cleansing. The aim of the Zionist project is to have all the land, with the lowest possible amount of Arabs in it, low enough that demography doesn't jeopardise a permanent Jewish majority, and it doesn't care how long it takes.
Said that a while ago mate, he's a disgrace.

Their perspective seems deeply rooted in disdain for a group they consider sub-human, driven primarily by Islamophobia, what other motivations can there be?
I do appreciate this view, however if we're being honest this won't impact Israel much, if at all. Israel has no issue being an outsider, and probably prefer it.

I respectfully disagree mate.
That lot have also always had a heart and minds strategy to try and win influence across the globe. Look at the way the apartheid state have fought tooth and nail to attack any groups seeking a cultural boycott of them; look at how desperate they cling onto UEFA and Eurovision membership.
They are outcasts now; barbarians not fit for civilisation. You better believe that damages them and is a problem for them.

The founders and early leaders of Zionism acknowledged and openly accepted their role as colonisers, viewing their efforts as a necessary part of building a homeland, that hasn't changed.
Well they did try to minimise civilian casualties with the exploding walkie talkies and pagers. That still wasn't good enough for the people here though.
I don't see where this cycle ends either because i just don't see the Jews abandoning their homeland, and the state of Israel being abolished being a viable option at all.
