It's amazing that posters in different threads are calling other posters "Racist" when they are the racists.

Neither myself nor Corky has actually mentioned the colour of peoples skin. Yet that's the very first thing three of you accuse us (and others of).

Its either being "racist" or something equally disturbing. Quite similar to the rhetoric that terror groups prescribe to isnt it...random hate filled insults with no basis on reality. I wonder how many races were affected by the terror attacks on the peace party October 2023.

Look further beyond and you will find that hate crosses over into all kinds of racism, hatred and dislike of many different areas in life.

Personally I don't see where this cycle ends. There's an awful lot of martyrs being created and I'd be very surprised if a new wave of radicalised fighters don't stem from this, directly or indirectly.

I know your rejoinder will probably be "well what would you do" or "they hide behind children, hospitals etc" but you must see the inconsistency in your post?

I have found, not only on this forum, but online in general, that those who claim to stand with Israel are full of strawman arguments and never seem to address the massacre of innocent Palestinian civilians.

They also never seem brave enough to give an honest answer as to why they believe an Israeli citizens life is more important than a Palestinian citizens life either.

Muslims, Christians, non-believers and of course other Jews have been repeatedly victimised by that lot; yes the majority of victims are Muslim Palestinians but if there are (for example) Christian Palestinians in the way guess what happens to them? If a prominent Jewish person in the US or UK speaks out against what they are up to what happens to them?

I hope sooner rather than later the rest of the world comes to label that state as a Zionist one and explicitly rejects the claim (which is very recent) that it is a - it is the - Jewish one.

I said this nearly a year ago, and it still rings true in my humble opinion.

Exactly. It's important to differentiate between criticising Zionism and Judaism; I've said it from the start, they are not one and the same, and never have been.

The real issue is that for some reason (well, we know the reason) that there is a concerted effort to muddy the waters and shout down people who criticise Zionism.

For me, and perversely, this just muddies the waters even more for when there is genuine anti-Semitism, which does exist and is prevalent.

What the Israeli state is doing (again, not Jews!) is akin to the actions of the Nazis, and that's a fair assumption. Lots of Jews and gentiles correctly suggest this.

The actions by the IDF on the Golan Heights and within Syria itself, epitomise what the Israeli state is trying to do.

It was more aimed at people in this thread who uncritically defend the actions of a far-right, apartheid-like state under any circumstances., if you read their reasonings and responses it's 100% anti-muslim rhetoric
