Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

We've seen the videos of both sides atrocities. To pretend otherwise is as I said blinkered.

The peaceful approach has been tried many times but it would involve measures that stop Israel continually forcibly removing people and settling their land so it was never accepted by Israel. This is fact. The current government want nothing to do with a two state solution and have promoted the idea of a greater Israel that literally wipes Palestine from the map. Oct 7th gave them the immediate justification but its doing a lot of heavy lifting now to justify their war crimes. Remember they did ignore Egypt's warning that an attack was coming, denied they received one, then admitted they did. They wanted their casus belli and got it. Instant reference to 911 was the giveaway too.

You can defend the indefensible if you want but it is clear to anybody paying attention that they are lashing out on all sides with no regard for the the lives of innocents. The front line soldiers even sing a song saying 'no uninvolved civilians' which once again, targeting civilians is not justifiable to anyone but the wholly partisan

1st bit, agree wholeheartedly.

2nd bit, it has - but it needs to happen before Netanyahu levels the place.

Again, i've defended nothing - read my posts instead of skipping through it and picking and choosing which bits to be upset about like others.

That's fair. I didn't note your criticism of the land grabs. Apologies

It's absolutely fine mate, as i've said before I like reasoned debate. I'm not here as a WUM or upset anyone - none of us on here know everything about what's happening so anything we put is conjecture.

I'm certainly not smart enough to figure out a solution that appeases both parties.

'upset anyone'... the fake, dress wearing, trans enthusiasts, that are rapists of a drugged someone operating in gangs would probably disagree here.

Read that line again everyone, yes, it really did go like that.

Absolutely, and what happened to Israeli decision-making immediately prior to and due October 7th is something that urgently needs to be understood.

It is almost inconceivable that a government of any sort would let something like that happen to its own citizens but to continue to believe the official account requires such a leap of faith - ignoring the publicly available information like the penetration of Iranian government and Hezbollah networks by Israeli intelligence, ignoring the Egypt warning, ignoring the reports of the troops on the border whose entire role was to report warnings, ignoring the captured plan of the attack, ignoring the history of Hamas and their capabilities - that its almost impossible.

Took you off ignore, noticed your vitriolic little cry, then back on ignore.

Neither side want a 2 state solution, both want a 1 state scenario.

Hamas and Israel want one state. The Palestinian Authority want a two state solution. It suits Netanyahu et al to have some semblance of Hamas remaining, and it is almost guaranteed they will never say they have been eradicated no matter how many layers of leadership they kill.

It is a very scary thought but they wouldn't be the first hard line extremists to sacrifice their own for what they see as the greater good. 'Break a few eggs to make an omelette' type attitude. It has also been touted that many of the kibbutzim targeted where of the mind set of reconciliation and cohabitation, teaching their kids Arabic and preaching peace. The 'sacrifice' of them would suit the hardliners on both sides in Hamas and Netanyahu's coalition.

Doubt we'll ever get a full explanation of what went wrong but it raises plenty of red flags

As I was saying the other day. There will be a time in the near future when Palestinians will be refugees only. The world sits back and watches, even defends, this open genocide.

It will be too late by the time people realise what they ignored and an entire country disappears, swallowed up by their guests
