Is it ok if Palestine defends itself btw? They have no army (not allowed) and only basic weapons though. Would it upset you if they resisted 80 years of occupation?

What would be the quickest solution (or atleast relief for a fleeting moment) for this horrible situation? Surrendering, disarming and disbanding the terror organisation Hamas. Or do you feel they should just keep dying infront or overwhelming war machine? It's just continuous graphic material for some, reality for those in the region. Nuts.

Only bibi can stop this - he is not arsed it seems. Dont think this is about hostages - if there were no hostages taken a year ago it would still be the same situation in Gaza
Long term, end the occupation?!?! Never going to happen obviously, return to 1967 borders? - Israel will never do this, next best option is 2 state solution with state recognition for Palestine, self-determination, freedom of movement, allowed to fish their own seas, control their own water supply, internet and general utilities and live a normal life without fear and violence. In return, the Palestinians would also have to stop the attacks on the settlers (who ideally would no longer be there) and accept that Israel now has a right to exist on their land. It is never going to happen, even this simplistic version is too much for the current Israeli (and probably Palestinian) leaders to accept.
WHat about the West Bank? The settlers aint going no where, on a daily basis they attack and steal land- what can be done?
I guess we wait until Bibi has pretty much destroyed Gaza and its inhabitants and what the international community do. WHere do 2 million refugees go? Who rebuilds Gaza?
