Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

Terrorist leader to you and me, a freedom fighter to Palestinians. What he did on October 7th is without compare but, you cannot do what Israel does and not expect reaction I guess.

From elsewhere:

'If we must die, we die defending our rights
— Sitting Bull

Yahya Sinwar was not a ‘terrorist’ he was a freedom fighter. He died as a champion of the cause of the Palestinian people, which is the cause of humanity in our time.

His last moments on this earth, caught on camera, involved him throwing a stick at an Israeli drone. The symbolism of this final act of defiance cannot be overstated. Here was the rebel leader of an indigenous people refusing to die meekly at the feet of his and their settler colonial oppressor'

The most important thing about him, and the biggest difference with nearly the people he has been positive and negatively compared to, was how he was almost entirely a creation of the state he opposed.

Born into a refugee family who had been kicked off their land, imprisoned for a couple of decades by the Israeli state and working before and after that right up to his death for a movement (Hamas) that was fairly openly encouraged by the Israelis to split the Palestinian cause and make it less palatable to outsiders. The occupation was the beginning, end and entirity of his life.

Absolutely! Sad really.
