Absolutely, but 4000 over 2 days?!?!
Unfortunately will come down ratio against collateral damage of legitimate targets within Hezbollah that have been neutralized. Still believe when those numbers are crunched fully verified away from both sides who have penchant for misinformation it will fall very favorably and in line if not better than conventional way of taking targets out.

That is assuming you believe Hezbollah are legitimate targets I guess.

Opposite of that here generally. I can testify that.
Not here but there was sense of anticipation of what Hezbollah itself can achieve in hitting back at Israel. Thats been pretty much stopped now.
Yeh, there is a clear reason why Iran,Lebanon, Hezbollah, etc etc have not retaliated in any meaningful way - the worlds terrorists backed by US warships, missiles and aircraft will flatten them at will (see Hamas).
Israel have gotten the middle east sewn up here and will act with even more belligerent impunity (if that is even possible) in the near future.

It is an horrific situation for the natives.

TBF Iran and Hezbollah know they are winning, the last thing they need to do is give Netanyahu what he most desperately wants. Two or three more years of Netanyahu and his ilk in charge and the near-term of the Israeli state as we know it is probably guaranteed.

Lebanon on the other hand isn’t capable of retaliating.

That really isn't how I see it. They cannot lay a glove on Israel, despite their recent actions. They are forced into tokenistic "attacks" on border posts and the like. Any actual retaliation will see hell-fire. Agreed that it would be playing straight into bibis hands and give him carte blanche to level them all.

That’s the thing though - they know they can’t yet defeat Israel with conventional military methods for any length of time, so they are doing something else now.

The Palestinians have Israel about to be found guilty of genocide, of her leaders being wanted as war criminals, and most of the world might (based on yesterday’s UNGA resolution) be about to treat Israel as South Africa was treated during apartheid. Hamas are still there, undefeated but damaged, as are Hezbollah.

The promise of the Abraham Accords have been destroyed by the Israeli government itself, and they are openly attacking the leaders of the few countries who supported them in this including the UK and US for daring to try and rein them in by pathetically small amounts.

Senior Israeli establishment figures have been warning that all the alarms are going off (most recently here), but the political leadership is so corrupt, so inept that none of the required actions have been taken, nor will they whilst they are in charge.

I Guess my concern is that this will never happen - they have been breaking international law every day for nearly 80 years and nothing has changed thus far..
