I’m genuinely shocked at the cruelty of this, it’s such an evil, evil thing to do.
A civilian mobile phone shop blew up. It would appear that their targeting isn't quite as clever as their bomb making.Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed militant group, is classified as a terrorist organization. Similar to Hamas, Hezbollah has repeatedly expressed genocidal intentions to destroy Israel and has actively sought to carry out these threats.
On October 8th, Hezbollah joined Hamas in the conflict by launching rocket attacks on Israel, firing over 8,500 rockets since then. This has resulted in the displacement of more than 80,000 Israelis from northern Israel.
Items like pagers and walkie-talkies, used exclusively by Hezbollah fighters or members, qualify as military objectives, making their destruction and the targeting of those using them lawful under the rules of armed conflict.
These strikes are specifically directed at Hezbollah militants and their equipment.
A friend of mine has family in Lebanon and apparently they were publicly available hence the reason loads of phone shops blew upA civilian mobile phone shop blew up. It would appear that their targeting isn't quite as clever as their bomb making.
Or they are just indiscriminately killing people.
Appalling if true.A friend of mine has family in Lebanon and apparently they were publicly available hence the reason loads of phone shops blew up
I can only go off what my friend’s told me, but I have no reason to doubt her given she’s heard it from family who live BeirutAppalling if true.
You have answered your own questionA civilian mobile phone shop blew up. It would appear that their targeting isn't quite as clever as their bomb making.

The majority of Palestine are Muslim, and to many the 7 October was the first terrorist attack between the two countries, they will never get that much sympathy in the UKIt should be 100% sympathy for the Palestinians.
No idea who might support the actions of Israel at this moment in time.
Getting pagers to kill and maim kids is just about the most despicable stuff you can think of.
An utterly awful apartheid fascist mess of a country.
An entire Israeli division has moved from the south to the north, bordering Lebanon, so I think we can all have an educated guess what may happen soon.Think you have to look at the bigger picture here.
Is this simply a case of Israel targeting Hez operatives, or is it a precursor to something bigger?
So far in two days Israel has effectively destroyed the Hez communications network.
1. They can’t use mobile phones as they can be easily tracked and calls intercepted.
2. They darent use pagers anymore
3. They daren’t use radios anymore
Phone lines are tapped as well and therefore their entire comms network is down.
Israel now has a serious advantage and I sense that’ll they will exploit it. You wouldn’t go to this much trouble just to blow the bollocks of a few Hez types.
Fianna Fáil he'll be easily bought or in his case distracted by 'the milf of the day'Credit to them yes. Thought it was interesting yesterday that Ireland got the Justice, Democracy, and Rule of Law portfolio in the New European Commission. Ireland and Spain have been pushing the commission, and have been ignored, for a review of the EU-Israel trade agreement. Not sure what Commissioner McGraths brief extends to, but if it's "Rule of Law" then I'm sure there are provisions for sanctions and penalties in the trade agreements under these conditions, if only sufficient energy was brought in enforcing them.
