Because it was a pro- Jewish site (google them) masquerading as impartial. I found (find) it offensive that despite 300+ days of mass murder of civilians you post stuff like this, attempting to show the aggressors as some sort of saviour.

I'd argue that many of the measures implemented in the West Bank, such as checkpoints, the separation barrier, and restrictions on movement, are primarily for security reasons to protect Israeli citizens from attacks by militant groups, which have occurred pre and post October 7th.

You can argue this all you like, the fact is - and this is seen in international law, and in repeated decisions of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly - that the occupation of those lands is illegal. Even Israel doesn't (yet) claim those areas are Israeli territory.

The settlers should not be there and, if security measures are required to protect Israeli citizens, then they should be on the Israeli side of the line.

Shows how much you read it too given the attack was in Syria, not Iran (or may be you are subconsciously admitting that Syria is a proxy state of Iran).

I have pretty much responded to most of your posts that are aimed at me and have given my viewpoint numerous times. I haven't turned a blind eye - even today I said the Israeli response has been disproportionate and all civilian deaths are bad. Previously I have given context that this is a war and in war, civilian deaths happen. You have shown time and time again that you cant engage without shutting down. The only peace for you is a Palestine with no Israel ultimately. You can't reason with someone like you. You are too far gone.

How come in places like Ireland, the UK and Australia etc there has not been as much as one single march or demonstration, for the Israeli citizens who have been kidnapped by Hamas, who are still being held captive by Hamas and some have indeed been murdered by Hamas?

Israel are colonisers why would people have sympathy for people who died living on stolen land vs people being bombed to death for years by the colonisers. Not even remotely comparable. There's risks that go with living on stolen land, one of those risks is that one day the original owner may want it back and take action to do so. You know this whole thing didn't begin October 7th yeah?

There have been loads in the UK and US. Often they are set up as counter protests and coincide with pro Palestinian protests. In the UK, the flags at such events are often a mix of the star of David and the cross of St George, due to the affiliation of the far right nationalists with the Israeli cause.
