Depends on how it all pans out. If Israel suffers significant infrastructure damage then I think they’ll respond in kind, possibly targeting Iranian power stations, oil refineries or port facilities.TBF that isn't what the Iranian spokespeople said - they said they didn't want escalation, but that they had to give an effective response to an Israeli attack in Tehran against a guest.
After the consulate bombing a huge diplomatic effort was put in by the US, the EU, the UN most of the regional states and others to try and prevent further escalation. The Iranian government listened, the Israeli government didn't - just as its not listened to anyone that it doesnt agree with since long before October 7th.
My hope is that the Iranian response follows the same pattern as the last attack, however I think that’s wishful thinking. If Iran, Hez and other militias get the strikes coordinated properly then Israel is going to take big hits.
