I reckon he believes what he writes unfortunately.
Which is just nuts to me.

In a forty person section, it was inevitable that there would be a Palestinian or a sympathizer that week. This is what happens at a university that prides itself on its international student population.

We also had ample Jewish students, and I recall thinking there always was a tacit understanding in the room that no matter how much we respected the combatants' intellect, the grown ups were sorting this one out.

Nothing like the hate Zat is spewing existed. It would have resulted in massive loss of social status, and college students don't sell that willingly. The ones willing to pipe up were almost invariably reasonable people.

Why do 'teachers' claim to 'teach' ?

Surely more appropriate would be to class themselves as book readers?
I think you are misapprehending how original research works.

You were a book reader. It's easy to tell by the self important messages.

“ The latest legal moves come as the Israeli media reported that the Israeli Defence Forces had concluded that troops “ had breached regulations “ after they killed a UN staff member and wounded a second one last week in Gaza when a marked UN vehicle was shelled and hit with a drone-dropped grenade “

No doubt somebody’s in for a severe letting off. What were the “ regulations “ I wonder. Don’t get caught ?

Setting aside the, "When did you stop beating your wife?" aspect of your post for a minute, I think you owe me either some logic or an apology for the slur.

In general terms, up until masters level reading the books & a little practical research, along with having a good memory gets at least a pass.

Sitting in a classroom or in lectures doesn't improve the learning experience aside from hearing viewpoints which typically come from those without lengthly and practical knowledge -- otherwise they would be 'doing' if they are particularly passionate and successful in what they do and believe.

Outside of these traditional learning methods I believe a similar amount of practical experience to be more valuable or at least may be comparable to those with PHDs.

A degree without practical experience (to me) is simply a 'passport' to gain entry to the roles which require it.

It's very challenging for me to remember any 'teachers' that actually taught valuable things outside of books. In my own experience it was mostly a lesson in how to set my aspirations far higher to not end up like them.

I dont mean to offend, stating facts as I see them from my own experience.

Hahaha. You can certainly tell that you weren't.

Imagine using that as an insult.

Way over your head...

What a rigorous and independent legal system that is. They join a long list of people breaching regulations whilst killing people as diverse as ex-UK special forces members, Israeli hostages, journalists and photographers, paramedics and so on.

A couple of months ago i posted the comparisons of Afganistan and this current situation. Showing number of enemy combatants killed compared with civilians.

At the time there were many others mentioned to compare with and this situation had the lowest % of civilians(?) to enemy combatants.

Just to show the Israeli's arent mindlessly choosing to execute the wrong people. Unfortunately its deemed normal and the ratio it.

Clearly they wont be purposely targeting the UN or suchlike.

Hopefully the remaining hostages are released unharmed soon. But i doubt it.

Been ordered to stop by international court. Interesting to see how the corrupt western governments react to this - spit dummies out and continue arming and supporting them?

It will certainly require political gymnastics to explain why a state opposes a direction from the ICJ that agreed with everything that state said when trying to persuade the Israeli government not to do this.
